I began painting 24 years ago when I had a baby and was searching for a hobby. As soon as I picked up a brush, I knew I had found a long lost twin. It was love at first sight. I enjoyed everything about it, the challenges, the accomplishments, the friendships and even learned to appreciate the failures when I chalked them up to experience.
I love buying and painting flowers. I am a mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend and artist who learned to paint and fell in love all over again. I have taught painting all around the country and loved it, have been published in magazines, have run many painting booths at conventions, but for right now I am loving sitting in my studio creating my next piece of art and sharing it with you.
I am a perpetual student and am looking forward to more time to learn from artists everywhere. Painting is a continual process of learning, experimenting and most of all…playing. If anyone ever feels like they are done learning, then it is time to find another passion.
I hope you go to my blog and follow along with me on this journey.
